  • Abstract: The study begins with an analysis of the textile sculptures of Magdalena Abakanowicz and is devoted to examining the mechanisms of applying light‑color technologies in sculptural tapestry, as well as their artistic potential. Based on a comprehensive art‑historical approach combining historical‑genetic, theoretical-conceptual, morphological analysis of artistic form, analysis of specific works (case‑ study), and systems analysis, the article reveals three main artistic effects of applying light‑color technologies in sculptural tapestry: first, the dynamization of spatial structure; second, the transformation of semantic structures; third, the expansion of perceptual dimensions. Thus, sculptural tapestry is transformed from a purely visual object into an "environmental" artistic image accessible to holistic sensory perception. The research shows that light‑color technologies not only enrich the material form of sculptural tapestry but also generate a hybrid mode of artistic expression synthesizing the traditional language of textiles and digital media. This opens methodological perspectives for the innovative transformation of traditional crafts in the context of contemporary art.
