Abstract |
As evidenced by the study the mechanisms of language representation of case units with the sphere-source “Flood” tend to exhibit specifics of functioning in a mass media discourse. Change of semantics of words and phrases takes place not only at the denotative, but also connotative, pragmatical level where case units get new semantic features. The analysis of realization`s characteristics of case designs with the sphere-source “Flood” allows to draw conclusions about the wide semantical, pragmatical and associative potential of the allocated language units and valuable prospects of the research of mass media texts. |
