Abstract
|
The article shows the relationship of the language features of poetic texts by M. A. Kuzmin's with basic aesthetic attitudes — requirement for great clarity, consistency and attention to corporeal detail. The study involves statistical data on the use of comparatives with the purpose of creating a clear and logical syntactical structure of a poetic work. The study reveals that in comparative constructions, used by the poet, the object of comparison is represented by the genitive form of the name of various lexical and thematic groups. It shows that at convergence of comparisons with other stylistic techniques (repetition, forcing comparatives) more expressive images emerge, staticity of objects decreases, while their mobility develops and artistic expression of the poet becomes richer. The results obtained may be valuable for literary scholars, exploring the works of M. A. Kuzmin and other poets of the Silver age as well as useful in the practice of compiling a dictionary of the poet.
