The article compares «The legend about Hodegitria of Tikhvin» (XVI c.) and «The Story about Svyatogorsk Icons» (XVII c.). The author reveals thematic, genre and narrative features of these stories, examines their genre dynamics on the background of old Russian literature of Saints' lives and visions. |
