Abstract: |
This article gives the code of data of ancient authors about life and creation of the great sculptor in comparison with medieval authors. It provides discovery data concerning their authenticity and appraise the authors on these model. The important role plays the linguistic analyses used the texts in original language, in Greek and Latin. Fidius’veneration after his death as a hero was admitted and proved an assumption by the author. This assumption permits in a new way appraise some of rare extant data about this sculptor. In particular it gives to appraise more precisely then before and to define social and religious status creators in Ancient Greece. |
