Russian and Swedish works of literature of the beginning of XVIII century devoted to the events of Northern war 1700-1721 are considered in the article. «The military» themes developed only by Swedish authors come to light and an attempt to explain the reason of their absence in the Russian literature of Peter the Great's time is undertaken. |
