Abstract: |
The paper focuses on some aspects of antinomy concept in works of Fr. Pavel Florensky. Antinomies concept is linked with the main types of hermeneutical interpretation of Holy Tradition, namely, cult. Philosophical beliefs of Pavel Florensky are presented as compatible with the conceptual apparatus of contemporary semiotics and cognitive science. Antinomic approach to the text of the Holy Scripture allows for singling out and defining of different models of catechizing activity. Concept put forward by Fr. Pavel correlates with active philosophical and theological creative work on comprehension of Holy Tradition that has been underway since XVI and that remains of primary importance for the orthodox consciousness today. |
