| Abstract: |
The article is devoted to the cultural phenomenon of travelling. The author of the article reveals the identity and features of Russian women traveling basing the research on the examples from literary sources of XVIII century. Despite the differences in the goals of trips, all the travelers were united by the pursuit of new knowledge for the development of science and education of Russia in XVIII century. |
