| Abstract: |
The article analyses the first period of development of Russian philosophical his- toriography as an independent research area. The most important thing of the analysis is the examination of works of the first historian of Russian philosophy - Archimandrite Gavriil, his work «The History of Philosophy». Problems that were set by Archimandrite Gavriil (such as definition of Russian philosophy and substantiation of possibility of its existence, distinctive features of Russian national philosophy, etc.), have been discussed till now days as all-important for Russian philosophical historiography. |
