Abstract: |
Alexander Vasilyevich Alexandrov, the famous author of the national anthem of the Soviet Union and the song «The Sacred War», started his career as a chorister in the Transfiguration Cathedral in Tver. All in all, A. V. Alexandrov lived in Tver for 12 years, from 1906 until 1918. These were the years of formation of the personality of the talented young musician, the period of his active musical enlightenment aspirations. Although Tver was not A. V. Alexandrov's native town, he left a deep trace and grateful memory of himself there. |
