| Abstract: |
The idea of growing up from infancy to maturity and perfection underlies the spatial-temporal relations of the artistic world of «Kazan Story». At the same time the spiritual growth of Moscow tsar corresponds to his spatial-geographic movement downwards to the Kazan Kingdom. Allegoric «Descent into Hell» and the victory over Muslim snake-like Kazan are probably interpreted here as symbolic imitation of Christ's Cross Feat. It defines Evangelic and liturgical motives in the text of the Story. |
