| Abstract: |
The events preceding the execution of the Polish officers in March of 1940 in Katyn and the reasons of this evil deed of Berija butchers are analyzed in the paper. The paper doesn't accept the explanations like Stalin revenge for the death of 60 thousand captured Red Army men in the Polish camps after their defeat near Warsaw in 1920 or the «genocide» of the Polish people which is a typical treatment of Katyn tragedy by Polish russophobes. The author explains Katyn tragedy by the so-called preventive class «sanitation» of Poland, due to Stalin's belief that Poland would inevitably become a member of the World Communistic Community in future. |
