Abstract: |
The article considers the artistic peculiarity of of philosophical prose on the example of the work of Vsevolod Solovyov and Jan Potocki. Philosophical prose is reasonably seen as a special kind of art, in which artistry and philosophy are organically intertwined. The author convincingly proves that the phenomenon of a philosophical genre is beyond the problematics of a book, and he asserts that an aesthetic reflexion, a special principle aesthetic activity, lies at the heart of the given genre. These issues constitute the main originality of the paper, as the problem of genre specificity of philosophical prose is not unequivocally solved all in Russian literary criticism. |
