| Abstract: |
This article characterizes the first publication dedicated to the description of the letters of the Russian tsars to dodges of Venice. The letters are kept in the State Archives of Venice. Until now, the article of F.V. Chizhov was rarely mentioned both by the researchers in the times of Peter the Great, and by the investigators of his diplomatic legacy. |
