| Abstract: |
The author considers the law ethos in traditional Ukrainian culture, which was formed in the collaboration with Magdeburg law tradition and the fundamental impera- tives of this ethos. According to author’s conceptions they are as follows: 1) Magdeburg law was a form of folk’s self-government; 2) Magdeburg law was an essential stimulus for social activity of people; 3) basic law norms were comprehended as important sort of moral deeds; 4) transformation of law norms was a realization of Christian morality and profound folk’s tradition of justice. |
