| Abstract: |
These days the Church tries to find a new way of talking to society. It needs transformation of communication style. The most actual directions of missionary work are education, intellectual and spiritual development of children and young people. In many aspects working with youth subcultures is the most difficult. The most important problem is establishing effective dialogue between the Church and youth subcultures. Misunderstanding often happens because location of participants of communication is in different cultural contexts, as well as language and semantic systems. Fields of discourse of participants of the communicative process are different. The meaning of same words and expressions can be opposite. Many incorrect, superficial studies of the problems of Russian youth subcultures are сomplicating the situation, as well as shaping stable negative attitudes of society towards informal associations. It is possible that the change of a paradigm of research of life and values of youth subcultures, detection of some general patterns of their existence, appeal to their axiological reasons, using of understandable figurative and symbolic language will promote more effective interaction between the Church and young people. |
