| Abstract: |
The article considers some of the most typical Dostoyevsky’s composition devices related to citation. It can be citation of an antecedent text, Biblical or any fiction known to Dostoyevsky, or a through quotation/image, or intertwinements, internal quotations and rhymes that appear inside a single Dostoyevsky’s work. Peculiar features of insert texts in the first and the last Dostoyevsky’s novels are analyzed here by way of example («Poor Folk» and «The Brothers Karamazov»); also the article deals with Biblical allusions in early Dostoyevsky’s stories and «The Adolescent», and with the literary context in «Notes from Underground» and «The Adolescent». Therefore, it is possible to show the dense texture of the story that is so typical for Dostoyevsky’s technique. |
