Abstract: This study of anthroponymic units in the works of Fyodor Dostoyevsky, determined by the image of Mother-earth, is part of the work devoted to reproduction of mythopoetic constants as timeless universals in writer`s Onomasticon. The perception of the earth as a special substance – giving purification and spiritual revival is an important characteristic of the oeuvre of Fyodor Dostoevsky. Mythopoetic dominant Mother-earth, is reflected in the characters of Dmitri Karamazov and Rodion Raskolnikov, who carry the ideas of moral regeneration. Anthroponyms, which were deliberately or unconsciously mythologized by the writer, promote disclosure of the author's intention, and are also a means of incorporating of Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s works into a mythopoetical space of world culture.
