THE ANTINOMY OF BEAUTY AND MONSTROSITY IN A POETIC TEXT: GEORGY IVANOV AND BORIS RYZHY

The article discusses the method of connection between categories of Beauty and Monstrosity in the same text, which was used in G. Ivanov’s and B. Ryzhy’s lyrics. The combination of such Materials allows these authors to reach specific expression and subtlety of lyric emotion. While G. Ivanov’s appealing to this method took place in his exile, B. Ryzhy chose it from the beginning of his artistic way as a basic principle of his own poetics, combining vernacular language and argot with references to the eternal themes and timeless values.
