The article explores the peculiarities of the opening clauses of hypothetic short restorable Novgorod Chronicle - general protograph of Rogozh chronicle, Novgorod-Bolshakov chronicle, Avraamka chronicle, chronicle of bishop Paul and the chronicles from Troitsk collection (# 805). It is shown that nonex- tant Novgorod annalistic monument was used in the short chronicle. The Story of the Passing Years was introduced in it in different version and size when compared to the chronicles of Novgorod-Sophia code. |
