| Abstract: |
The article analyses the peculiar behaviour of the Russian noblemen in courtship, engagement and wedding in the first half of XIX century. It is shown how weddings were usualy organized, how engagements, weddings and wedding receptions were held. The paper summarizes the etiquette forms which accompanied the given events in life of nobles. |
